After zero players matched all six numbers in the $60 million Powerball drawing on Monday (May 1) night, the jackpot will rollover on Wednesday (May 3).
For Wednesday night's drawing, the jackpot will rise to $71 million ($38.2 million cash value).

The previous record for the world's highest prize for cash value plus annuity was the $1.586 billion Powerball drawing on January 13, 2016.

the world's largest jackpot (cash value and annuity) and sixth largest cash value per ticket. Four Mega Millions games topped $1 billion.
In January 2021, the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots exceeded $1.7 billion.
Each game's prize increases until a ticket matches all six numbers and the Mega Millions Gold Ball or Powerball.
