After zero players matched all six numbers in the $60 million Powerball drawing on Monday (May 1) night, the jackpot will rollover on Wednesday (May 3).

For Wednesday night's drawing, the jackpot will rise to $71 million ($38.2 million cash value).

After an Ohio player won $253 million on April 19, the Powerball jackpot reset to $20 million. After Mega Millions jackpots on April 18 and 14, Powerball won.

On November 7, one California player matched all six numbers to win the $2.04 billion ($997.6 million) Powerball jackpot, the highest in U.S. lottery history. 

The previous record for the world's highest prize for cash value plus annuity was the $1.586 billion Powerball drawing on January 13, 2016.

In January 2016, three tickets in California, Florida, and Tennessee won the $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot,
