Hailey Van Lith, a guard from Louisville, committed to LSU on Thursday.
LSU is the reigning national champion.
Almost three weeks had passed between Van Lith's transfer portal application and her Instagram announcement.
On April 19, she stopped at the Baton Rouge campus.
Van Lith will join the Tigers and play with Angel Reese, who was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.
When Van Lith shared the news on social media, Reese was quick to respond with "oh it's UP."
Van Lith, a two-time first-team All-ACC pick, led the Cardinals in scoring with 19.7 points per game while also chipping in 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
In a statement released on April 8, Louisville head coach Jeff Walz thanked Hailey "for her contributions to this program, this school, and this community."
"She has done everything we have asked of her over the past three years, and we wish her the best in her final collegiate season and beyond."
