Khloe Kardashian "didn't sleep" and lost "a lot of weight" amid her harrowing cancer scare.
"The Kardashians" star had a precancerous melanoma removed from her cheek, leaving a four-centimetre wound on her face. In a trailer for the family's Hulu reality show, she said it was terrifying.
Khloe's half-sister Kendall Jenner stated, "She doesn't sleep, she lost a lot weight," and close friend Malika Haqq said she had never "seen her this low."
Khloe said she was keeping her bandage on and getting laser therapy to erase the scar after the successful operation.
"It’s healing so wonderfully," Khloe tweeted. I heal it with lasers. I'm not sure I'll wear it for six months.I'm pleased with my diligence after two months.
After seven months, Khloe decided to see a doctor.
She posted on Instagram: "After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realising it was not budging.
Dr. Tess Mauricio (@drtessmauricio) inspected it, and Dr. Daniel Behroozan (@drdanbehrozan) performed a second biopsy since what they saw was uncommon for someone my age.
"A few days later, I was informed I needed an emergency facial tumor surgery. I summoned Dr. Garth, a family friend and Beverly Hills' top surgeon, who I knew would take great care of my face."
