Demi Moore promoted Inside Out: A Memoir in 2018. Her three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah—sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith on Facebook Talk's Red Table Talk for the promo.
Their mom's descent into drinking was difficult. Jada asks Tallulah what concerned her about her mom's recurrence in the internet footage.
"It’s like the sun went down and a monster came," Tallulah says. I recall feeling anxious when I could see her eyes were closing as she spoke.
She'd be more loving if she wasn't sober." Her sister replied. Rumer stated, "It was just jarring," before Tallulah returned.
"It was strange and sometimes furious. I was furious and spoke to her like a kid. It was different from our mom."
Demi's book was launched on September 24, 2019, after a lengthy press tour. She discussed her marriages to Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher.
Demi had kept her drinking relapse private. Friends say the actress suffered psychologically and physically after Ashton's divorce.
"She was really struggling mentally and didn’t take care of herself," said a friend. Her girls and life were a mess. Thankfully, her children and she are doing well.
"Now, she has a beautiful relationship with all of her daughters," the insider said. Demi regrets her unhealthiness. She's making amends now. Wonderful girls.

Rumer also loves her mom's accomplishments. All three daughters appear thrilled to be reuniting with their mother, and they're now comfortable talking about their adolescent years during her relapse.
She recently teased ex-husband Bruce Willis by alleging he was paid more than her on a movie, then reversing and adding, "I can't say he didn't deserve it."
