Barrymore, 48, has been upfront about menopause, aging, and hot flashes, but she didn't expect to have her first one on television.
She stopped the Murder Mystery 2 launch interview with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler to express she felt overheated.
“I’m so hot, I think I’m having my first perimenopause hot flashes,” she said. “For the first time, I think I’m having my first hot flash,” she said, taking off her jacket and fanning herself. Whoa!”
Aniston, who turned 54 this month, has also discussed aging and graying. Aniston supported Barrymore after her sudden hot flash.
Barrymore gasped, "I'm sorry, do you feel this?"Maybe I’m simply excited.” “I’m so glad I have this moment documented,” she laughed.
Barrymore captioned the footage on Instagram: I either experienced my first perimenopause hot flash or became super eager to meet @jenniferaniston and @adamsandler! Or both?
